SmartonCommunication revealed that it joined 2018 Autoweek, an auto show that invited a various of aftermarket businesses to display their product. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport held and The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy sponsored the show. Many relevant industries including automobile-manufacturing, tuning & repairing business, detailing and etc., opened booths to advertise its product & service, and to display new product & technology. Specially, there were many hot-technology caught by many people such as autonomous, connected car, and others. According to relevant person to the show, there were 267 companies, 74,000 spectators from different 14 countries. SmartonCommunication boasted its popular automobile application OBD2 MonsterGauge and big data custom engine oil Monsterblood. One of the Co-CEO Jae-yeol Jung said “we plan to launch OBD2 system that connects commercial trucks to our system and display information of the truck. By doing so even truck drivers could enjoy the benefit of connected-car solution as other divers do in their smartphone”. Monstergauge and Carcloud applications collect data through CAN protocol, the protocol followed by most auto-makers which helps the computer in car monitor and control itself. These applications not only stash data from ECU but also analyze it to bring drivers insight of the car in a way of which most drivers never thought of. Drivers could predict the timing of the batter depletion, be aware of problem in tires, and check error codes in their smartphone. “Through this show, we one-stepped closer to our clients and communicate with them in order to reach higher satisfaction. Continuous conversation with our clients is tipping us the way we upgrade our service and application. The more clients we have, the better service and product we develop” Mr.Jung says.
